wild orchids at king park and wireless hill , perth

Nice day for a wander in the wilds of kings park and at wireless hill perth.
Several orchid species were found including cowslips, jug, carousel, donkey and bee. The profusion is not as great as in previous years, probably due to the dry winter

the lure of iceland

it's getting exciting as the photo trip to iceland is looming up in a few days.
what photo gear to take?
need the sony a850 with 28-75mm and
the nex3 with 18-55mm - sweep panos are great and likely
the lumix gf1 with 14-45mm and 45-200mm for the wildlife.
not certain about lumix lx3 compact but cant justify the lx5 at the moment
would like the 18-200mm for nex but that is a little pricey.
will take fujitsu lh530 laptop and the portable image tank for the raw files
could take ipad - so much to carry and what about a tripod.
at least will be in a car lot of the time.
have also to gear up for autumn gardens in england - exciting
